What is PFA insulation material?

Perfluoroalkoxy, also known as PFA, is a fluoropolymer. PFA is rated up to 260°C, making it an excellent choice for high temperature applications. The typical use of PFA insulated wire is as thermocouple wire, but it can be found in a variety of military and aerospace environments. It is available in extruded or foamed form.
