High temperature wires are used in applications where long-term working temperatures exceed 150 degrees Celsius. Applications for heat resistant wire include internal wiring for ovens, ovens and industrial heating applications. Common insulation materials for high temperature wires include silicone, FEP, ETFE, PFA, PTFE, fiberglass, and mica tape.

Conductor material

Pure copper is more likely to corrode at high temperature, so the high temperature wire adopts the following heat-resistant conductor materials:

· Tinned Copper: Suitable for moderately high temperatures up to 180ºC

· Nickel-plated copper: for high temperatures up to 450ºC

·Pure nickel wire: can withstand high temperature above 450ºC

The high temperature cables that Fongming cable can produce are:

Silicone insulated wire (150-200ºC)

For operating temperatures up to 200ºC, you can use silicone insulated single conductors. Silicone can withstand high temperatures up to 250ºC for short periods of time and has good low temperature performance down to -25ºC.

Teflon+Glass Braided (TGGT) Wire (250ºC)

TGGT wires consist of a PTFE insulating tape and a high temperature sealant impregnated fiberglass sheath. You can use this wire continuously at 250ºC.

High temperature mica fiberglass braided wire (450ºC)

Mica is an insulating material that can withstand high temperatures. The combination of mica tape + glass braid insulation protects the cable at temperatures up to 450ºC. GN1000 high temperature mica cable conductor is pure nickel wire, which can withstand temperature up to 1000ºC.
