Glass quartz fibers are designed for extreme temperature applications. Glass-quartz fibers in this design are woven with standard insulation over the individual conductors and jacket, providing continuous temperature ratings up to 1800°F (982°C). Quartz glass fibers are flexible over the entire extended temperature range, but are not recommended for highly abrasive applications at high temperatures. The high temperature limit of quartz glass allows it to be used in areas where the temperature is higher than the upper limit of fiberglass braided wire. Standard build designs provide the most economical solution for your high temperature applications.
